Can foreigners buy at Al Mouj?
Yes. As an Integrated Tourism Complex, non-Omanis get freehold ownership and may apply for residency for themselves and first-degree relatives, per the developer.
Which residency does buying allow?
Per the developer: a multiple-entry visa, a 2-year renewable residency once the title deed (Mulkiya) is issued, and a housemaid visa for title and residency holders; Al Mouj offers PRO help on request. The 10-year Golden Residency applies from OMR 200,000.
Is a mortgage available?
Al Mouj has agreements with Bank Muscat, HSBC, Oman Arab Bank, Bank Beirut, National Bank of Oman, Bank Nizwa and Bank Dhofar; contact their mortgage departments directly.
When is the title deed issued?
Not necessarily at handover, as it is coordinated with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning; owners are emailed when it is ready, per the developer.
How far is the airport?
About 13.8 km by road, roughly 16 minutes by car to Muscat International Airport, by our route calculation.
